DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, CHINA ORGANIZATION
The key responsibility of the
Doo
of our China operation is to be the key executive responsible
for managing the entire organization. This person will report to
the company President located in the USA. This person will also
interface with the key management in the China and USA
organization on a regular basis.
The DOO will be responsible for all operational departments in
the China organization, raw materials, production, sampling,
merchandising, Quality Control, planning and personnel.

position;
Location,
Nanjing, China
Bilingual
, Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese. Must be able to
communicate effectively with both China and USA management
Education,
College Degree
Experience
, Minimum 15 years experience with 10 years in a Senior
Management position with an apparel or similar organization. DOO
should have a full understanding of the apparel manufacturing
process from product creation through final delivery.
Responsible for developing a strategic plan to execute the USA
teams products and production plan to meet the customer’s
needs and requirements.
Responsible for the following Departments
;
Raw Materials
, Fabric and trim procurement
Production Planning
, Securing and planning factory and Laundry production to fill
company orders in customer approved facilities
Quality Control
, Assuring that proper QC system is set up and strictly and
independently monitored to assure quality level desired for
customer requirements. Organize QC department to be effective,
independent organization that assures that facilities deliver the
products at an acceptable AQL. The DOO will have the final
responsibility on garments that are to be passed for shipment to
the USA customers.
Merchandising groups
, Oversight of Sampling and development to meet USA requests
and meet customers’ requirements in a timely manner.
Personnel evaluations and Recruitment
. Ability to fairly evaluate performance and provide
instruction for improvement. Recruit new team members at all
levels as needed by department to create a world class organization
